Nineteen of the Russian's twenty-one victories have been won on hard surfaces
A comeback Daniil Medvedev secured his first trophy for over two years with success over Corentin Moutet in the Almaty Open title decider.
Medvedev, a former number one, has experienced a challenging period, achieving just a single victory at the big events and undergoing a setback at the US Open.
The player's inconsistency on the tennis tour - and difficulties with his serving in particular - led to him exiting of the top ten and ultimately splitting with former trainer his previous coach.
Currently training with Thomas Johansson and his other coach, Medvedev has steadily improved in the past month - climaxing in a tightly fought three-set win over Frenchman Moutet.
It is his first trophy following the Rome competition and initial on a hardcourt after spring of the previous year.
Victory also indicates he has achieved 21 victories at 21 various events.
"This marks the first occasion I'm at a competition with my children simultaneously, so to secure a title is particularly special," stated tennis professional Daniil Medvedev.
"This title is in tribute of my younger daughter Victoria, because the initial championship I achieved when my first daughter Alisa was born was for her."
The athlete, the past champion, had been defeated in his previous six title deciders, featuring in Halle previously this season.
Medvedev's defensive approach and frequent outbursts on the tennis court had led commentators to doubt if his capacity to compete at the elite level was concluded.
Yet the 29-year-old has implemented adjustments in the past month, attempting to advance forward and perform aggressively, supported by an enhanced serving game.
Medvedev fought back from a disadvantage in the first set against the tricky opponent, winning four of the final five games to take the lead.
The competitors swapped breaks in the following set before Moutet, bidding for his maiden tour victory, took control to force a third set.
He saved 4 initial opportunities in a competitive third set before Medvedev secured a break to fifteen to serve for the match.
Suitably, the winner earned the win with a rally at the net area, with his opponent incapable to manage a shot after a lengthy match.
